The payments landscape has become crowded as technology has enabled smartphones, chips and more to be used for payments, while also providing more opportunities than ever for real time data insights. However, many restaurants don’t have a deep bench in technology to decide what’s best needed and are also facing new regulatory challenges like EMV, so this panel will explore payments and POS systems, how people are using new technologies and/or integrating them with their existing POS and conquering EMV and other compliance issues like meal breaks, rest periods, etc.
