Preventing and Remedying Workplace Harassment - Presented by Fisher Phillips (English)
All California companies with the following are required by law to provide 2 hours of sexual harassment prevention training to all supervisors in California.:
  • 50 or more employees 
  • Within 6 months of promoting to a supervisor
  • Within 6 months or hiring into a company as a supervisor 

Note: Part-time and temporary employees (including those hired by staffing agencies) plus independent contractors are part of the minimum employee count of 50)

This training meets that requirement and a certificate will be given for successful completion of this training. This training is designed towards restaurant supervisors.

The payments landscape has become crowded as technology has enabled smartphones, chips and more to be used for payments, while also providing more opportunities than ever for real time data insights. However, many restaurants don’t have a deep bench in technology to decide what’s best needed and are also facing new regulatory challenges like EMV, so this panel will explore payments and POS systems, how people are using new technologies and/or integrating them with their existing POS and conquering EMV and other compliance issues like meal breaks, rest periods, etc.
